About Jacobs Privacy & AI Law

Jacobs Privacy AI Law is a boutique law firm specialised in privacy law and AI law. Jacobs Privacy & AI Law was founded by Jeanne Jacobs-Gilhuis, a lawyer with over 25 years of experience in privacy law as a privacy practice lawyer and as corporate lawyer. She worked as Legal Counsel, Compliance Officer and Data Protection Officer at, among others, Royal Schiphol Group. Prior to that, she worked as a lawyer in the Intellectual Property and Technology Media Telecom practice groups at Stibbe.

Jacobs Privacy & AI Law offers high quality through extensive specialisation and works efficiently and pragmatically.

Expertise

Jeanne Jacobs supports national and international organisations with a wide range of privacy law and AI law issues. She advises in particular on the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the GDPR Implementation Act (UAVG) and the AI Act. This can be done remotely or ‘in-house’.

Jeanne Jacobs is a member of the Privacy Law Association (VPR) and the Association of Privacy Law Lawyers (VPR-A). The VPR-A holds the specialisation association quality mark of the Netherlands Bar Association.

In addition, Jeanne Jacobs is a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) and is certified CIPP/E, CIPP/M and CIPP/T.

In the Netherlands Jeanne Jacobs works with Elferink & Kortier Advocaten (also for temporary cover), and internationally with Pierstone.
